Just as Beginnings are Divine, as are endings

Divine Beginnings has officially stopped offering home birth services as of July 2025.

Beth felt led to help offer women in WV more options by trying to help get more birth centers open in WV. What better way to make that happen then by going to work at the ONLY birth center in WV. Beth has joined Erin Listermann CNM and Jackie Warmke CNM at FamilyCare OB/GYN and Birth Center in Charleston, WV.

Beth is accepting new and transfer clients who are wanting a low intervention birth at either the Birth Center or at CAMC Women's and Children's.

If you are looking for a home birth midwife, there are still several amazing midwives serving the area including Transition Midwifery, Appalachian Midwifery, Freedom River Midwifery and GentleCare Womens Clinic.

Thank you all for the support and memories...on to my new beginning

Professional Work

What makes Divine Beginnings different?
As an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, Beth is able to write prescriptions, order lab and medical ultrasound testing, send referrals to physicians and other providers, and bill insurances. Having practiced in the local area for 17 years, Beth has established excellent relationships with the regions OB/GYNs, Maternal Fetal Medicine specialists, imaging facilities, and hospitals, so if those services are needed they are just a call away.

Beth respects your right to medical autonomy and personal decision making for your family. Evidenced-based practice and standards of care are always discussed, as well as the risks, benefits, and alternatives of each. She supports normal, healthy pregnancies and births, but with the safety net of her years of experience to recognize when it's not.
